Review:
Im a big fan of sci-fi, and was fascinated by the idea Jumper. Samuel L. Jackson always gives credibility and I was wondering, Hayden Christensen from Star Wars for the first time (I still havent seen above). I convinced a friend to come with me to the special effects in the trailer. The story is rather follows: A boy discovers he has the ability to teleport himself. Boy learns to control his abilities. The boy lives an idyllic life of leisure and travel, until he learns that the people chasing him, and that is caught up in a war between people who can teleport, and those who hunt them. Unfortunately, Jumper is not much more than geography tour. History is well laid out and the main character behaves in a trustworthy way. If you ever imagined that the power of teleportation, you will buy a large premium at this time. Sadly, the film fails to build on this premise and sideways action sequences are pretty boring. My friend fell asleep! There is no chemistry between David and Milly and their romantic relationship is unrealistic. Jackson plays the same character always does, Rooker is under-utilized, even though Jamie Bell adds much needed momentum when it comes. All in all, if you want to leave your brain at home at night, you may find Jumper, but I recommend waiting for the DVD.
