Review:
I went into this movie confident that it would be cheesy, campy romp at the same time tried and true tricks of trade, such as when the hero investigating the creepy music coming from the basement and a cat jumps into frame, but quickly realized that this would not happen harmful . After watching the move and obsessing on it for about 12 hours now, I can honestly say one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. In fact, there are several points during the film where I screamed as the girl Justin Beiber concert 13 years. Keep in mind I am aware of trying hard to remain calm, especially because I was sitting next to my new boyfriend for 2 months. He did not make a peep the way, fortunately, I found out later he had his eyes closed the whole time. I also expect to see blood and guts, especially come the people who made Saw, but did not fall. Instead, they use other things in their arsenal to scare the bejesus out of me and all the other theaters (including my boyfriend). Literally at the beginning of the disk, they create a loud, haunting tension, which does not leave the body until several whiskeys and half a Xanax later. And the film continues to feed tensions, even more worldly character of family life somehow seem very scary. I actually left the theater exhausted all uncomfortable squirming I was not able to control. Id say the most calories I have ever burned while watching movies (well, at least a PG-13 movie). Overall, the film was high. It was crazy scary, thoroughly entertaining and surprisingly funny at times. Having said that, it was some time before I watch another horror movie, I do not want to turn into a frazzled bundle of nerves again in the near future. So, if you are going to see this movie, please consider this a warning reminder: that's probably best to go with someone whos already see you have the physical and mental disorders are complete, to be avoided, AN embarrassing to go home. And maybe the Xanax as well.
