Review:
Now, let me start by saying that this movie is a great movie. It's certainly not a terrible movie, as most critics say. I think the critics might have raised expectations thanks to Thor and X-Men: First Class. They should not be compared with the Green Lantern movie. Now ranked 24% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is too small. It probably would be high 60s, when it was released before Thor and X-Men: First class.The good acting and this movie is not bad at all. Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan great, and very enjoyable. He certainly fits the role of Hal Jordan is really good. Blake Lively is a great and very sexy, she's not just pretty face as the most desirable. Peter Sarsgaard is a great actor and he plays the evil Hector Hemmond really good and interesting. Generally, everyone is trying their best, and at the end of the day make a really great job, definitely not Oscar worthy performances, the special effects are quite large though.The and very helpful to say the least. Though sometimes feel CGIish bit, but it's not too big and disorders. I must say I was a little disappointed with how the Parallax looks, it seems a little fake at times, but it's not scary in that sense. Also, this film does not take itself seriously, which is kind of refreshing. What could be the reason why the critics did not like it so much. They want to be sad and serious personal story. Unlike Thor and X-Men, Green Lantern and more children friendly.The main problem with the film is that they try to cram stuff from the comics and the personal lives of other characters. It seems that there may be so much a sequel to the other characters. He did a sort of focusing on too many characters. Also, the editing can be a bit annoying at times, they definitely need to do a better job, but mediocre editing best.Overall Green Lantern is a fun summer movie. Although no where near the Dark Knight, do not have to. 3D is really very good and impressive special effects. There is no doubt that the criticism is very harsh, and it's not fair to Green Lantern. At the end of the day, do not listen to critics. Decide and see this movie. At the end of the day, it should be only your opinion that matters to you. You may or you may not agree with the criticism. But dont miss this movie because of the low Rotten Tomatoes score.
