Review:
I've heard a lot Fruitvale station, and she received rave are incredible. And although I think a very solid film it, I just dont think its also very good. Big event happens in the third act, and there is nothing wrong. There is nothing wrong with that if two acts effectively build, but I do not think it actually. Acting is not a problem, it just never goes beyond just be a pretty solid piece of nature writing. A third act, while effective, is still a little disappointing. I've heard so much about it making everyone cries and tears run down like a river down everyone's face ... I just dont get it. I would appreciate that the film is not overly sentimental, and credit goes to him rrugëne will not be easy. Finally, I just wish the script was interesting. Octavia Spencer is the clear stand-out in this, and frankly, I like it here more than support. I would have no problems getting her Oscar attention, she's doing her job.
