Review:
Precursor: I just got back into town two days ago, and made plans to see one of my old friends in the evening. I did not want to see this movie, and it would have in any other circumstances, but my friend really wanted tickets were free, so I went. Examine yourself: It's not disrespect to Jonah Hill, his fashion humor or his fans at all, but I personally have grown tired of what now seems to be plenty of wishes being a Hangover and Superbads. (The success of Project X seriously worries me ...). In any case, there are methods that mind set tonight, and since I did not laugh once during the trailer 21 JS, green or red tape ... I really did not expect much from the experience except to leave the house and catch up with the man. But damn. I honestly thought this movie was great. Yes, there were parts that I do not like ... little dialogue seemed to be vulgar to be strictly for the sake of vulgar ... There is usually expected Jonah Hill are protected countless penis jokes and an extremely unnecessary shock gag, but most of the film, for me, surprisingly satirical / smart / relevant in today's society, self-conscious and situational fun. Even the dumbest of the most profane movies jokes and cliche? E seem to know that they like and get the corresponding comic build / context in at least Account smile. This movie had some surprisingly clever through dialogue and some of the best supporting characters I've seen in recent comedies (Ice Cube, Principal, etc.). What really stood out for me is editing. 21 Jump Street has some of the most awkward humorous cross shot, scene changes and musical integration. Despite its flaws, I found that it's damn hard to hate the movie and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun weekend movie.All all ... original, clever, vulgar still respectable comedy with some heart. IMO a very good career move for Hill and Tatum. Stoked to continue.
